a public apology
taken from my Facebook profile (note for this librarschooled blog: much as I feel embarrassed and want to delete the rant, I’ll leave it there though with a special note, and to show that ideas can roam freely but need to be discerned. And this blog will still be updated though not sure how often):
a public apology: seems like after all that my inner-voice had the case of the high school...
formerly a rant [edited]
Yea…actually decided to take it down. However I hope to write a less of a rant version about libraries needing funding.

yonkoma ftw!
Found something to work with.
While I have been familiar with yonkoma, Neko Ramen by Kenji Sonishi and Azumanga Daioh by Kiyohiko Azuma have convinced me to give this approach a try. (I also recommend checking out the mentioned comics!)
I can’t say there will be particular days for update because I don’t want to make promises that I can’t keep (already have some non-refundable...

Reasons to go to the library →
Yes, giggle (or gasp) at the curse words all you want, but it does suggest good reasons to go to the library.

salmiakkivodka:
Because people still give me this incredulous look when I tell them that’s my chosen career path.

How I find books to read
Here are some ways I did and still do find books to read. Your ways may vary.
At the library: 1. I go straight to the graphic novels and manga section (usually the 741’s) for I am an comic aficionado. 2. When I was young, I would always go to the 808’s because I wanted to read books about writing. 3. I volunteer at my local library, and my task is to find books on the list so it can...

introduction to library schooled
Heyllo reader!
I’m D.L.
Currently, I’m in my second semester of grad school so I could get my Master’s in Library Information and Science and get a job as a librarian.
The theme of this Tumblr will be about anything pertaining to libraries and books. There will also be cartoons and comics drawn by yours truly.
You could also find me on Twitter.
